6 Week Life Drawing Course at the Museum – Museum of Ventura County

An event every week that begins at 6:00pm on Thursday, repeating until July 26, 2018
This 6 week instructed course offers an exploration into the various techniques and methods used to depict the human figure on Thursday evenings from June 21st through July 26th, 2018. Class time is 6-8 pm. Working with nude life models, each of the 6 sessions will focus on a different subject, for example: quick gestural drawings, chiaroscuro (the study of light and dark tonal values), contour drawing, measured drawing or negative space. The course will be instructed by the museum’s first Artist in Residence and local artist Ryan Carr.
